Fire Wise Visit

As part of our Firewise Study, Te Atau Fire department came to visit our class.

We learnt a lot about match and lighter safety.

We learnt how to get out of our houses in the case of a fire - and a safe meeting place
  -  The Letterbox

Highlights were seeing the fireman all dressed up-

and - of course - the Fire Engine

LEARNING HOUSES

We all had a REALLY fun afternoon making our Learning Houses.

The children made different houses where they can practice their learning.

They made Reading and Maths houses.

They made Puppet Theatres.

CONSTRUCTION

We need some learning areas in our classrooms.

Room 3 and 4 are working together to make some special areas the children can go to practice their skills -
    Reading, Writing, Maths
 We may even get a puppet theatre for our puppets.

Watch out for developments.

Growing everyday

We are learning about growing our brains through our learning experiences.

Room 3 and 4 joined together to make these beautiful sunflowers.

Slime  

The slime is sticky and it is runny

like a zombie.

The slime is gooey and it say's GLOB.

It is cool and oozed and we 

made green slime.

We made Lava lamps.

The bubbles went up and down.

went down and the also faded.

Milk

The colours were blue. 

The colours were swirling. 

The colours were

erupting.

The milk family swirled around and  BLOB  BLOB  BLOB - rainbow bubbles—and it was all done

 Ta Daa!!

The milk was like a spiral and it was

beautiful.

I liked the rainbow colours. 

The red, blue and green was mixing.

It was beautiful and I liked it so much. 

It was colourful. 

I saw it glow in the dark.

The milk got some colours and it was fun. 

The milk was twirling and it was cool.  

It was like a snake.

The swirling made the colours big.  

I like the rainbow patterns.

When the dish wash went onto the green it exploded.

When the oil went in to the colours it went colourful like the sky.
